Fugitive recovery teams. Tired slashed. Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Jessica, Sheila, Dan ... Over the past few weeks I have been the recipient of verbal assaults from a few of the people living in Building 1. The young women living there, and their boyfriends, are apparently friendly with the former residents of 4B. Bobby, the former property manager, is a common visitor to 137 12th Street - usually going back and forth between wherever he is living, now, and Building 5. Their friend, 'Bubba', is here several times a day, as well as a frequent visitor to Building 5 - usually between midnight and 5 AM. So, I was away all yesterday, dealing with legal issues in Eureka, and in meetings with PPM's lawyer - Mr Davis, of Dun & Martinek - discussing settlement of CV150134. My children told me that someone from Building 1 was parked in my Building 4 parking space all day, yesterday, while I was gone - apparently, waiting for me to return, and hoping to create a confrontation - using a huge four-wheel drive pickup truck to occupy the space. This would be the young, chubby guy, with glasses, who keeps calling me "faggot", despite the fact that I have four children - who is the owner and operator of the very large truck, and whom is also the boyfriend of one of the young ladies in Building 1. So, anyway, I noticed this morning that one of my cars has a flat tire - and it would appear that my tire has been slashed. I'm not sure if it happened yesterday while I was in court ... or if it happened last night, while I was working at the school carnival, for a few hours. Regardless, it reflects poorly upon PPM, and 137 12th Street. This goes directly to evidence that the apartment complex is not being effectively managed and that it is not possible to enjoy one's home, here - STILL - and it also underlines the ineffective nature of your management, where you are neither in control, nor willing to accept responsibility, for the things that happen on the premises. So, I'll be reporting this crime to the police, later today. And I'm going to add that damaged tire to my list of damages. And I'll be reporting to this fact to the Superior Court, next Tuesday, at our next hearing. And I'll be showing pictures to the jury, too, so that they see what sort of retaliation one faces, for reporting bedbugs, and mold. By the way ... the people in Building 1 were raided, last night, by the police. Because I fear for the safety of my vehicles, at night, I have - as you, and the Fortuna police, well know - been sleeping in my car, seven nights a week, these past six months. I was awoken around 30 minutes past midnight when a car entered the parking lot with its lights off. I heard a car door open, and then I heard someone say, "US Marshals. Get out of the car and lie on the ground." I thought they were talking to me - but they were talking to the person in the car parked right by Building 1. They ignored me. There was a lot of talking, in the stairway - I don't think they heard what was going on around the corner - then, a hubbub - then, silence, as they were all herded inside for processing by the marshals. I would guess that it was a fugitive recovery team. I think they might have taken one or two people away. A similar team was here maybe a week or two ago - also late at night, with lights out - looking for someone ... or maybe they were just engaging in a probation-related premises search. If your onsite management is unaware of these facts or has not reported these facts to you, that can only reflect poorly upon both you and your onsite manager. Why do you have wanted criminals, or those whom shelter them, living in Building 1? It disturbs me that PPM, and the owners of 137 12th Street, place a higher priority on collecting their precious past-due rents, for their bedbug-infested and mold-choked apartments, than they do on preserving their tenants' lives, and property. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Regards, ~richard
