I have two screens on the outer windows, now. That is helpful. It only took a year. The two screens on the inside-facing windows are still missing. The screen for the sliding door is missing. Let me say, here, that there there are NO excuses for this state of affairs, because the screens were covered by the previous tenant's security deposit. The only possible explanation, as far as I can tell, is some form of embezzlement. Because the previous tenant surely provided a security deposit. The sliding door is still installed backwards. Nothing has been done about the toilet. No one has crawled beneath the building to see why the floor is sinking in the bathroom. And I haven't even mentioned the mold - what happened to that inspector that was going to come back in two weeks? - or the unresolved bedbug infestation. I understand that the toilet in Apartment 5B was replaced recently. I have been told that when the toilet was removed, the wall, behind the toilet, was covered with black mold. So every time a child uses the bathroom they are breathing in spores. Naturally, the new toilet was installed, nothing was done about the mold, and it is still there. I would guess the same will be found behind every single toilet in every single apartment on the first floor in this complex. Food for thought. In the meantime, I'm still waiting for those window screens. Regards, ~richard
