Gary,

It was three weeks ago that you were onsite to look at the mold growing 
on the walls - along with four people representing the owners and 
property management, two mold remediation specialists, and a forensic 
analyst from Humboldt County.

It was our understanding that we were NOT to wash the mold off the 
walls, because we were waiting for a mold specialist to confirm the 
analysis - the same mold specialist that had been involved in diagnosing 
the black mold infestation at the National 9 Inn, in 2014 - and this 
person was on vacation, in Florida, but was due back shortly.

That was three weeks ago.

Since then one of my daughters has developed a frequent cough - bad 
enough that she developed a nosebleed, losing enough blood to feel faint 
for a day or so.

We've stabilized the situation, over the past day or so - it's a 
developing situation - mostly, through her learning not to cough too 
hard, so that she doesn't get a nosebleed.

I am taking her to see the doctor tomorrow.

Do you know when this mold specialist will be here to take samples?

Surely the doctor is going to ask me. It would be nice to have a 
concrete answer.

We cannot wash the walls until the representatives of Humboldt County 
take their samples.

But even if we did, we would only be icking the can down to the road, to 
the next tenants.

Humboldt County's delay in gathering their samples in a timely fashion 
is impacting my children's health.

Which is why mold is not supposed to be growing inside houses for rent, 
in the first place. Right?
