I actually suggested, to Jessica, that they mount the fire extinguisher where it would be visible - and she refused. (She said if it were in sight it might be messed with by the children. and she didn't want it too high because then the children couldn't reach it. I couldn't make this up if I tried.) I don't think they wanted to waste any time mounting stuff - that would turn a simple task into five or ten minutes, per apartment. (It's not cost-effective to mount fire extinguishers where they can be seen, I guess. Takes too much time.)
