It is my understanding that a fire marshal was scheduled to inspect the property on 15 December 2014 - just before Christmas, about a month ago. Did this inspection occur? I saw no indication that it had happened. I am concerned because the property management company, PPM, has attempted to comply with building codes, by placing fire extinguishers under the sink - where they are out of sight - and I am concerned that the extinguisher will be forgotten when it is needed most. (I have two fire extinguishers in my kitchen, already. They are both in sight.) Separately, it has come to my attention that my heater is falling off the wall - or, at any rate, the cover is not in any way attached - and I wonder if this is a fire hazard.
