Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Jessica, I saw an ad yesterday, on Craigslist, suggesting that perhaps Park West Apartments was looking for a new manager. I don't see it up any more, but the ad's writer said they were open to all offers, and described the offer as including a two-bedroom apartment - with the third bedroom of the apartment being reserved for use as an office. I thought I'd write and apply for the position - just in case it is for the Park West Apartments. Here's my bid: I'll manage the apartments for a two-bedroom, upstairs apartment, with a deck - estimated value, $700 - and for $15-$20/hour in wages, assuming 20 hours of work per week, or four hours of work per day. I don't see any way I can afford to do it for less than $15/hour ($1200/month). $20/hour ($1600/month) would be better. I'd want to turn in a timesheet, each week, to keep track of the hours and the activities, so it was all clear. I'd want two weeks' notice if you decide to terminate the relationship.
