Furthermore, it is my understanding that the owners of 137 12th Street have somehow managed to destroy their relations with all three or four of the exterminators that service the Humboldt Bay area. (Some of the problem probably resulted from giving the business to the lowest bidder - who came all the way from Redding, but wasn't able to return for follow-up treatments without another large infusion of cash to cover expenses. Some of the problem probably resulted from concealing the infestation from the very exterminators who were onsite to address other forms of infestation - putting the exterminators, themselves, at risk of infestation. Not good.) I'm still mulling over the implications. The biggest implication right now, is that two or three small children are going into HeadStart, every morning, coming from a property that is actively infested with bedbugs, and there is a nontrivial possibility of the infestation being passed on to other children and adults.
