Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Jessica, I escalated the breaking-and-entering problem to the Fortuna Police Department, for lack of other, more responsive authority. I now have a painfully hand-written note, unsigned, saying "I, Robert Klammes, Property Manager, asks that you Please move your van that's parked in the Fire Access Spot, this is the 1st warning. If its not moved your van will be towed at your expense." No deadline was provided, so I have no idea if I have fifteen minutes, or a day, or what. There is no "Fire Access Spot". There is no "Fire Access Spot" in front of the other apartment, on the other side, either. I have been asking for "fire access lanes" to be painted, for a few months now, to bring this nonsense to a halt - if it's painted red and has stripes across it, it's not open to dispute. However, there is no "fire access spot" in existence, now. I think what Bobbi means is "please move your car so my drug dealer customers and friends can park there". You could bring this whole nonsense to an end with thirty minutes and a bucket of red paint. Regards, ~richard
